A Midsummer Night's Dream Act IV Summary:           The scene opens up with Titania and Bottom who still has a Donkey's head and he proceeds with his bossy and jerkish personality into a conversation with his appointed fairies. Still madly in love, Titania has not the slightest clue that she is under the spell of the flower juice. With Bottom conversing with Titania, it makes for quite the humor as he refers to himself as an ass, when discussing the topic of him going to the barber, without realizing that he is wearing a Donkey's head. Another interesting thing that occurred was that coincidentally or not, the diet that Bottom  wishes for  resembles one of a donkey, and due to the fact that he is unaware of the fact that he is wearing a Donkey's head, it makes it humorous. This hunger for this certain diet (grass, dry oats, hay) may be because he is a dwarf but it really resembles one of a Donkey. Also, due to the fact that his p...

A Midsummer Night's Dream Act III Summary :           The scene opens up with the workers who are practicing some of their acts for the play, and they seem to be to struggling. One of my predictions that I made during this part of the act is that the play was going to resemble the plot/conflicts that occur in the love triangle and/or in King Oberon and Titania's wedding. In this part of the act Robin, I would say was the protagonist. After being instructed by Kind Oberon to take the flower and drop the juice on an Athenian boy to make him fall in love with the Athenian girl whom he never stops rejecting, he has caused a lot of mischievous on the way. As much fun as he was having, ruining the workers practicing their scenes for the play and dropping the flower juice on the Athenian boy, his actions created a mess of itself. In which King Oberon had to jump in and devise a plan to get things back to normal.      ...

A Midsummer Night's Dream Act II Summary :           The scene opens up with a mischievous and naughty spirit named Robin Goodfellow consulting with one of the Queen's fairies. Upon their conversation, it was revealed that the Queen of the fairies and the King of the Fairies are at a disagreement for more than one reason. For one, the King wants a small Indian child, however, the queen won't let him have the Indian boy and secondly the two are struggling with fidelity in their relationship. This act also depicts the role and character of Robin and because of those things, it makes sense that he would be the one to carry out the king's dirty work. At the end of the act, the author provides the reader a hook as the King presents a flower to Robin whose job is to travel and cause trouble. What was your personal reaction to this reading selection?           My reaction of this act was that I was intri...

Demetrious has permission to marry Hermia, however, Lysander, who does not, is also in love with Hermia. The two suiters personalities juxtapose each other One thing that they have in common is their love for Hermia as they try to discredit one another. Hermia is in love with Lysander and as much as she wishes that her father would see it the way she does, her father claims her as his property and her only options are to marry Demetrius, become a nun, or be killed. Last but not least, Hermia's best friend Helena is in love with Demetrius and as the saying goes love can make one do stupid things. In the end of the act, introduced was a play meant to be acted out on the day of Theseus and Hippolyta's marriage. What was your personal reaction to this reading selection?           I had numero...

My results after taking the "What Kind of Reader Are You?" quiz was that I am a Fiction and Drama type of reader.      As for Fiction, I do believe that to be true because if I recall all of the past books that I have read (not by choice lol) they are mainly fiction. Moreover, I have always exhibited a liking to fiction in general. From my favorite fictional movies, music, cartoons like "Star vs. the Forces of Evil", "Harry Potter", to the anime categories that mainly subscribe to, it's no surprise that I would find a liking to the books. Fiction also relates to Fantasy which is down the alley of Harry Potter. As well as Mystery which brings me back to my favorite Tv-Series "Pretty Little Liars". Fiction is broad and so am I as till this day I cannot choose one favorite thing whether the category is colors or food.      Not that kind of drama lol. I do like a good drama here and there and li...
